Durarara final - durrrrr-arara

This is truly the only way to spell out it - Durarara throughout was obviously a pretty good show, nothing AMAZING, nothing special, but a good watch particularly with what else may be developing lately (complete fucking garbage in addition to OoFuri 2). But this last episode completely destroyed even that 'pretty good', it turned out awful and something of the most popular disappointments I've been on awhile in relation to anime. I wasn't expecting much but damn they did not even deliver something mediocre as an ending, they delivered complete garbage.

Let's study the episode - nothing happens, more nothing happens, and nothing happens.

To be more detailed, everything you'd be ready to take place in a normal happy-end show happens, and all of within 22 minutes. EVERY character gets happy end, nobody - not the 'bad guys' die - and nothing worth mentioning in any way surprising or non-cliche happens.

It's extremely cliche and nothing about it was unexpected by any means, that is not just the challenge - the catch is the entire episode was played out such as a silly interim episode included center of a show, bull crap episode, an excellent episode without any purpose apart from and keep viewers watching, Not just a finale. And dislike it had been lighthearted but awesome or anything, it had been just pure shit, perhaps the expertise of the animation seemed lower than usual for fucks sake. It's like they merely quit bothering right as they started implementing a final episode and just chosen to throw whatever bullshit they are able to imagine that you will find silly and bullshit in rather than you know ACTUALLY GIVING IT SOMETHING MEMORABLE FOR AN ENDING. The vast majority of episode went into completely inane conversations that had no meaning or relevancy to anything inside the show or any deep meaning in any way - these began about 13 minutes of the episode - along with the Other episode was Celty messing with Shinra and Celty messing together with the loser 40 year olds who thought in a kid's gang had been 'cool' after you're over 16. Literally that's all that happened. Some shitty conversations that had NO relevancy or depth and were just retarded wastes of energy to fill space from the episode and Celty fanservice. That's all. Also it wasn't even good fanservice, it absolutely was like 3 seconds, and we have seen HER NAKED ALREADY Usually are not CARES.

Oh right, and how about Saika being blocked using a tiny switchblade To start with, have you thought to just slide the blade like 1 cm and cut his finger And Saika CUT A WAREHOUSE DOOR INTO PIECES this means you will be blocked by the flimsy pocket knife Still, why don't you only have another individual cut him she's got almost the main city under her command. It makes no fucking sense.

Plus, in 23 they cause you to expect shit is gonna drop - it does not. The big fight from the warehouse Some shitty choppy poorly animated kicks and punches approximately Just a few seconds, then this long talk between kida and mikado that no one cares to listen to because we know what they're gonna say because it is so fucking cliche.

Also, this is actually the final episode, you expect it to be awesome or serious - it had not been, your entire episode was almost a tale. 1 / 2 of it had been provided to Celty messing around with all the 40 yr old who thinks he belongs inside a highschooler's gang and scaring him playfully as well as the scene only agreed to be as retardedly childish. I know the show would be a lot more aimed towards a twisted-love style of deal rather than the gangs and the like that had been an enormous section of the story, but this ending had nothing to do with that either really. It had been a unique play around episode of nothing, not really lovey-dovey shit in addition to like 2 minutes in relation to Kida and the cutey blended with a lengthy dialogue while mikado holds kida close while implying homolust. Fucking gay, fucking stupid, fucking lame. Fucking SHIT.

If I want to joke episodes I'd watch shitty fillers on shitty shows, not the FINALE of a show I just enjoyed. I am aware the large message at the end was 'nothing really changed' but seriously, it is fucking ridiculous. Having that stuff happen for the end, sure, okay nothing really changed everyones still taking place since they were - FINE - but have something LEADING UP TO THAT. Not simply LOL FUCK IT EVERYONES FINE, KIDA RUNS AWAY Very little else CHANGES THOUGH, The tip LETS Add in SOME SILLY CELTY FOR Quarter-hour THOUGH. HURRRRRRRR DURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR(arara)

Not even sexy-cute Celty in her own slut outfit was sufficiently good to fix this shit.

I know we have a DVD only episode eventually but everyone should know how those prove, it will be whether pointless OVA slice of life feeling and a lot likely loaded with ecchi shit mixed in every now and then with Anri and Celty, or it's going to be something different in the same way unimportant towards the overall story. Regardless of what it can be, episode 24 is the official end with this season on this series - and typically the end with the animation of it completely apart from 25, as no second season may be announced, so yeah.

Also, I know theres novels - and more compared to what this show covered, exactly like Baccano. But there is NO excuse for this kind of garbage ending. The sole thing the novels existing does is supply a viable and fine reason for why nothing really was given closure, which is fine when camping because it is correct - building a made up ending could be even worse. So im FINE which they didn't give closure to a lot of the things or give strategies to the majority of the questions - but jesus fuck none of their excuses this garbage of your finale or operate played out. Hell they will had characters just up and disappear from the series Body one example is being Shinra's father who just literally disappears on the show out of nowhere as well as the end isn't mentioned or shown whatsoever.

Plus - Check out Baccano.

Baccano doesn't cover the majority of the novels (which i believe are still ongoing, like durarara's) however it's ending was very satisfying. So there's no excuse for this.

And yeah, the same as this episode experienced a large amount of unneeded bullshit being said as opposed to dealing with the - and repeating a similar goddamn things a billion times from the short duration of the episode, We've repeated myself quite a lot and my number of words is far above it must be. Doesn't suggest Could not complain simply because I truly do a similar thing often ;_;

Oh just as soon as again, I'm magically missing (completely, the old stuff that did arrive) from the anime blogger antenna and none of my posts are already turning up there.
